The Pinning Service API is specifically geared towards working with existing CID's on the IPFS network: https://ipfs.github.io/pinning-services-api-spec/#tag/pins S3 API can be used to upload new content into an IPFS bucket, and we may add the generic IPFS upload endpoint back as well
